Cadbury Saxophone Band

The latest news (May 2023) is that we're back with a bang! We held a joint concert for charity with Cadbury Wind Band, which Dave also conducts.

The concert, held at Claverham Village Hall on Saturday April 22nd 2023, was to celebrate two important milestones.Sax Band, led by Dave James, celebrated over 25 years of existence. During that time the band has provided a home for many saxophone enthusiasts in the Yatton area and much further afield. It has entertained a variety of audiences, with a variety of music, the majority of which has been arranged for the band by Dave.

Cadbury Wind Band celebrated over 40 years of existence, for which Dave has been the latest conductor for many years.

The Sax Band performed first, followed by an interval, then the Wind Band. The highlight of the evening must have been the two bands playing together Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. Dave arranged the music for each band.
